MJ'S DETAILS

The MoonStar Company has been producing shoes in Kurume (a town in Kyusyu, Japan) since 1873. Kurume was initially successful in the rubber industry with the production of jika-tabi shoes. Today, the technology of vulcanization and the experience gained over the long history makes every MoonStar shoe a great product.

Each pair of shoes is made by hand in the historic factory.

The distinguishing features of this shoe are the vulcanized natural rubber sole and the canvas upper.

The "All Weather" Chelsea boot model is a redesigned deck shoe from the 1950s, which is still produced today without compromising on design, quality and comfort.
