William Lockie is one of Scotland’s oldest family-run luxury knitwear companies, based in Hawick. Steeped in history and tradition, it has been a family-run business since 1874. The secret to William Lockie’s success lies in the precision of its unique manufacturing process, combined with the very highest quality raw materials—cashmere, camel hair, geelong, lambswool, and, in the summer, a rarer blend of cashmere and linen.

Here is a modern cardigan knitted from the finest lambswool. With its stand-up collar and patch pockets, this cardigan is reminiscent of a bomber jacket. A distinctive feature is the chunky ribbing knitted into the shoulders, back, and elbows.
