The name "Tie Your Tie" takes its inspiration from the legendary store founded in Florence in 1984 by the great Franco Minucci. His taste was admirable, and the store was considered a mecca of distinctive style.

In 1988, I visited this place for the first time, and it sparked an inspiration for my work that continues to this day!

Mr. Kenji Kaga was president of Tie Your Tie Japan and continues Franco Minucci's style today.

Very few artisans have mastered the "Seven Fold" technique, and it requires nearly twice as much fabric. Each tie is cut by hand and rolled by hand to achieve a "Full Volume" look.

Folded seven times and unlined, a tie like this embodies the very essence of true sprezzatura. A casual elegance that is unmatched!

The fabrics used for these ties are produced in very limited quantities, and the one-of-a-kind silk jacquards are inspired by historical Japanese motifs.
