G.H.Bass - The Original Weejun

George Henry Bass gründete 1876 eine Schuhmanufaktur, die im Jahr 1936 den ersten Bass-Pennyloafer auf den Markt brachte. Die Formsprache orientierte sich an den Mocassins der nordamerikanischen Ureinwohner und sie nannten diese Loafer „Weejuns“, was umgangssprachlich soviel wie "vereinfacht" bedeutet.

Die vereinfachte Art, einen Schuh ohne Schnürung zu tragen, machte diese Schuhe schnell beliebt und viele Hollywood-Stars und besonders die Studenten der Ivy-League, trugen dieses Schuhwerk in die Welt. 

Hier ein Boot, der diese Eigenschaften auf den herbstlichen Bereich der Outerwear überträgt.

Die ungefütterte Verarbeitung erzeugt nach kurzem Einlaufen großen Komfort und erhält in Kombination mit unseren Sport-Strümpfen von Sozzi auch einen guten Wärmewert.
