Rifugio - A Journey To Elegance

Alfredo Rifugio is known as the king of handmade leather jackets. Many years of experience with scissors, needles and thimbles have propelled him to the Olympus of leather manufacturing. Finely selected qualities in goat suede, deerskin or lambskin grown in winter are the materials used to make dreams come true in this leather goods tailoring workshop. And Sartoria per la Pelle!

Here is a duffle coat made from the finest lambskin, the shape of which is based on the original "Newton Abbot" model by Invertère. The duffe coat was made particularly popular by the English field marshal Montgomery and is often referred to as the Monty coat. In the 1970s and 80s, this model became very popular again and became extremely popular among Parisian students.

Alfredo Rifugio has now perfected the duffle coat with a handcrafted finish. The very soft feel and light weight make this very special coat a luxurious companion for the cold season.

Perfectly combined with a turtleneck sweater made of Scottish cashmere from Fedeli or simply over a sports jacket and with sartorial trousers from Rota.
