A denim shirt with a shark collar in a soft finish. The hand-inserted sleeves, small hand-sewn "Piccanelli" tabs on the cuffs, button placket and side seams underline the sartorial philosophy.

The "Soft Denim" quality, produced by the Canclini weaving mill in collaboration with Giovanni Inglese, combines the finest cotton yarns to create a soft fabric that is pre-washed before processing. The chest with pleated insert "Plisse" interprets the evening shirt in a cool way and makes it a wonderful casual shirt - the connoisseur will of course wear it with a black bow under a velvet jacket.

Hand-sewn in the workshop of shirt tailor G. Inglese, whose sartorially handcrafted polo shirts have made him absolutely unique. Every single shirt is a true masterpiece, the result of Puglia's culture and detail-oriented precision, skillful and diligent hands.

ABOUT G. INGLESE

The story of G. Inglese began in 1955 in Ginosa, when Gianni Inglese, alongside his brothers, founded a workshop dedicated to the art of "fatto a mano" shirtmaking. When Angelo Inglese took over his father’s legacy at a young age, he did so with a clear vision: to carry the true essence of "Made in Italy" to the world. For Angelo, this is no mere label, but a manifesto of excellence. Every single piece that leaves his workshop in Apulia is the result of this absolute passion. What Michael Jondral particularly appreciates about Angelo is that he views his craft as cultural heritage, executing every detail—from the seam to the hand-embroidered buttonhole—with a devotion that is second to none in the world today.
