The model 714 by RESOLUTE stands for an authentic five pocket jeans, which is based on the classic 501 by Levi's, from the early 1940s. Typical of this era here is the reproduced denim, which gets an almost fluffy surface when worn and develops a pleasant wearing comfort. The open copper rivets on the front pocket, as well as the slightly higher waist with a straight line in the leg, are equally characteristic of this period.
In the USA, it became the so-called "war model" during World War II. Due to wartime shortages, the few manufacturers were forced to simplify various specifications. RESOLUTE follows the unique details of the vintage war model, such as the top button "donut" with engraved laurel, a coin pocket without rivets and wider belt loops.
RESOLUTE transports this original style into today's world, relying exclusively on Japanese denim woven on traditional "Wooden Looms". A highlight for denim aficionados!

The founder of the Japanese label RESOLUTE, Yoshiyuki Hayashi, has worked in the denim industry for over 30 years and realized a dream when we founded RESOLUTE. He is considered the godfather of denim.
Dyeing, weaving and sewing are only done by experienced artisans in the Japanese province of Bingo. A 100% made in Japan product. Yoshiyuki Hayashi sees his jeans as a basic and as the interpretation of "American casual". A garment that changes its nature in its evolution and gets its personal touch through wearing and washing.
