As a unique feature of its in-house production, the Scottish knitting mill uses an exclusive yarn made from a blend of lambswool and cashmere. Thanks to its collection of vintage knitting machines, McGeorge is able to knit with the same yarn thickness and fabric texture as it did 60 years ago. Tradition as a model for the future!

Likewise, the styles we’ve curated have a legendary history. According to this history, style icon Steve McQueen had his personal favorite pieces made at McGeorge’s knitting mill: on the one hand, the traditional Aran cable-knit sweater, and on the other, his particularly beloved shawl cardigan.
