In the "Sarrau" capsule collection, the creative team at 

Coherénce focuses particularly on role models from the working world. Sarrau serves as a metaphor for the smock smeared with oil paint and the "fatigue" work pants stained with plaster.

In a photograph taken in 1954, we saw the French painter Nicolas de Staël wearing a pair of loose-fitting Army pants. That is how this model came to be named after him.
