MJ'S DETAILS

The US Air Force model B3 from the 1940s is one of the most iconic winter models among flight jackets. The jacket was used to keep pilots warm and the reinforced sleeves protected them from the rough interior of the cockpits. The attached outer pocket, which offered the pilots space for their box of Lucky Strike and their Zippo lighter, underlines this cult status.

Chapal has modernized this jacket and produced it in a fine, naturally vegetable-tanned leather with sheepskin. A jacket as a style icon that is made to last a long time and develops its own character through wear. Similar to a Patek Philippe, a piece that can be passed on to the next generation.

Michael Jondral and Chapal have found a special collaboration and this jacket was made exclusively for MJ in dark brown, different from the two-tone original. Only the open patch pocket is finished in cognac brown as a contrast.
