MJ'S DETAILS

A polo shirt with a three-button placket and a shark collar, crafted from very soft fabric. The hand-set sleeves, small hand-sewn “Piccanelli” bar tacks on the cuffs, placket, and side hems underscore the sartorial philosophy. A slightly shorter fit allows the polo to be worn over pants, and the hanger loop in the collar is a stylish and practical detail for a day at the beach.

Made in the workshop of the G. Inglese shirt tailor, who has achieved a truly unique position in the market with his sartorial, handcrafted polo shirts. Each shirt is a true masterpiece, the result of Apulian culture and the meticulous precision of skilled and diligent hands.

The JFK model is a tribute to former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, who enjoyed wearing this model during his time off at the family's summer home in Bridgehampton—East Hamptons.

ABOUT G. INGLESE

The story of G. Inglese began in 1955 in Ginosa, when Gianni Inglese, alongside his brothers, founded a workshop dedicated to the art of "fatto a mano" shirtmaking. When Angelo Inglese took over his father’s legacy at a young age, he did so with a clear vision: to carry the true essence of "Made in Italy" to the world. For Angelo, this is no mere label, but a manifesto of excellence. Every single piece that leaves his workshop in Apulia is the result of this absolute passion. What Michael Jondral particularly appreciates about Angelo is that he views his craft as cultural heritage, executing every detail—from the seam to the hand-embroidered buttonhole—with a devotion that is second to none in the world today.
