Invertère has been run by the Shaw family since 1948 and has therefore been in family hands for generations.

Invertère has been manufacturing original duffle coats and traditional outdoor jackets since the beginning of the 20th century.

The "Newton Abbot" duffle offered here is made from the exclusive "Elysian" lambswool fabric by Joshua Ellis and is similar to the original from the 1920s in terms of its weight and subtle herringbone pattern.

This duffle coat is not to be forgotten in the history of artists, stars, free spirits and underground idols from Hollywood to Berlin and from London to Paris. An iconic garment that will enrich your wardrobe as a warm winter coat.
