MJ'S DETAILS

The tiny knitting workshop in Glenugie specializes in crafting Shetland knitwear. Before knitting, the yarns are washed with seawater in the unique climate of the Aberdeen hinterland, giving them an unusually soft feel—something not typically found in Shetland sweaters. This is a very special specialty of Glenugie’s: by knitting on the particularly old “Circulare” circular knitting machines, the garments achieve a subtly sporty stitch pattern and have no side seams.

This sweater was knitted in the round as a "flat knit" without side seams and has been brushed. It features a stunning pattern that reflects Scottish culture. This sweater is the ideal companion for colder days and perfectly complements your casual outfit. It looks great with corduroy pants or winter chinos from Rota, or simply with jeans made from authentic Japanese denim by Resolute!
