Invertère has been run by the Shaw family since 1948 and has therefore been in family hands for generations.

Invertère has been manufacturing original duffle coats and traditional outdoor jackets since the beginning of the 20th century.

The "Newton Abbot" duffle offered here is made from an exclusive quality of lambswool by Joshua Ellis and is similar in weight to the original "Monty Duffel" from the 1930s.

The English Field Marshal Montgomery popularized this model and gave it its name.

A duffle coat worn by artists, stars, free spirits and underground idols from Hollywood to Berlin and from London to Paris. An iconic garment that will enrich your wardrobe as a warm winter coat.
