Leon Leonwood Bean first introduced boat shoes in the 1930s and established them as a cult item for sailors on the coasts of Maine. Big names such as the clans of the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers or Kennedys were among the customers and established the LL Bean brand, which has grown to become one of the largest casual outfitters in the USA to this day.

The 10" Shearling Duck Bean Boot has been produced by LL. Bean has been producing the 10" shearling duck bean boot since 1912 at its factory in Maine, USA. Since then, it has caused a sensation with its combination of durable leather and waterproof rubber. In combination with its unusual design, it is simply irresistible and thus acquired its name - The Original Duck Boot!

In the area of the shaft soft leather provides breathability and comfort. In addition, the lacing provides a firm grip. In the lower area, the rubber provides reliable protection against moisture. A special detail is found on the sole, which has a chain tread. This provides a firm grip on slippery surfaces on the one hand and creates a special look on the sides on the other. The lambskin lining provides warming protection on particularly cold winter days.
